Hey!
It's been a while. A loooonggg while. I've been busy with school and everything... I'm in the middle of finals right now, as a matter of fact. I've been recording a couple of covers every now and then but later I realize I don't like them much so they never see the light of the day. Well, today I recorded "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon and I actually like it. I based it a little bit on the Paramore version. I hope you enjoy it!

Hey, it's been a while!
The other day I recorded myself (video this time!) playing three songs: "The Best Day" by Taylor Swift, "Umbrella" by Rihanna and "Me Voy" by Julieta Venegas. I've already done The Best Day and Umbrella, but these are video versions and I think they're better since I practiced more. The audios will be made available later at my journal if you're interested.

I've also been working on new songs but I've been busy. Exams are coming soon and that's never good. So here, have the three videos and ignore my eyebrows!

Hey!

Right now, it's the first week of my very long winter vacations (one month and one week), so I'm gonna try to use some of that time to work on my music. I haven't been writing many songs, to be honest, but there are a couple I've been working on that I like. I've also been pracitising a few of my favourite songs (that *gasp* are not just by Taylor Swift) to record as covers. You might even get a video soon!

So, in the meantime, I have a... Taylor Swift cover for you. What can I say, I love her songs. This one really touched me. It's called "The Best Day", it's on her album Fearless and it's probably my favourite Taylor Swift song.

Hey. I bought Taylor Swift's Fearless album (it finally came out here!) this last week and I'm currently obsessed with the first song, called "Fearless" too. So yes, what do I do when I'm obsessed with a Taylor Swift song? I record myself singing/playing it, of course! As if you hadn't heart enough Taylor Swift covers ;)

But. This time I decided to post a video, something I haven't done before. Just so you know, my eyebrows have a life of their own. I only learned this song yesterday and I did a different version, so don't expect it to be like Taylor's version (which I loooooove).

So, remember that 'project' I'd been telling you about? Well, it's done! You can download it now. It's called "The One Who Got Lost". It includes four tracks: "Don't Ever Let Me Go" (the same one you can hear on MySpace), "My Friends" with new vocals, and "Still Intact" and "Thinking Out Loud". Apart from those, it has two acoustic tracks ("When You See" and "I Don't Believe We Have Talked") plus two instrumental tracks (a new one called "Think of Me" and "Cold" from Through The Noise). So, in total, they are eight tracks!

Hello there.
So I updated the lyrics list, yada yada, put up a new layout and profile from endorsedlayouts and I have some little news. I have been recording some stuff (most of which you've already heard if you've been visiting my profile on myspace and this journal) and I was waiting to finish a few songs to upload them and combine them as an EP. Hi everyone. I've been bad at updating. Yesterday, in between studying and procrastinating, I recorded myself singing with my guitar "White Horse" by Taylor Swift and a new song I wrote last month, called "Thinking Out Loud". Just me and my guitar, almost no effects at all. The quality is probably not very good 'cause since my computer got messed up, my microphone hasn't been working well and so. I've been neglecting this journal.
Well, mostly 'cause I have not much to say. I've been studying a lot, and doing nothing of my vacations, just the way it's supposed to be. The Pineapple Express has to be one of the funniest movies ever.

I've been writing a lot, too. I have six new songs that I really like, some more than others, obviously; but overall, I really like playing all of them, and I'll probably be showing some of them soon.

I'm also very excited for two things right now:
1. The Sims 3 coming out soon, hell yeah.
and
2. The new Brand New record that will probably come out this year, HELL YEAH.

I'm gonna go see American Idol now. Bye bye.

I've been writing a lot lately, actually! Mostly about the same thing... yeah. My fingers hurt from so much playing guitar. There's one of them I really like. I'll probably post some live videos or something of sorts soon.
